Thursday night was family walk night around the golf course and a nice supper. On Halloween morning, Tyler had his Halloween Parade at his pre-school. He is a very good singer as you can tell by the photo. He sang 4 songs and had a lot of fun. After the parade he had an informal class picture taken.
Later that day, Uncle Rob and Lauren wanted to go see the museum at Air Force Base. We packed a picnic lunch and headed to there. We got to see a lot of old and new Air Force Aircraft including the old Air Force One planes. Megan could not attend as she had her Halloween party and school.
Friday night it was Trick-or-Treat time, finally! From 6 - 8 Megan, the wicked witch, and Tyler, the fire-fighter, had a lot of fun getting as much candy as they could. Megan was so happy with the witch costume Grandma made her last year that she wanted to wear it again. We added a broom and a new hat with green hair so she did not look the same as last year. Tom, Lauren, and Emilie started off taking the kids door to door walking. Lauren and Emilie went back to eat supper and Tom and the kids hooked a ride in a neighbor's golf cart for the rest of the night. Julie, Aunt Joyce, Uncle Rob, Lauren and Emile attended our neighborhood bonfire at the end of our cul-du-sac. Later Tom and the kids joined in. After a while, we all went to another cul-du-sac for their bonfire party as there were more kids Megan and Tyler's age at that one.
On Saturday, we all went to watch Tyler play soccer with his team "The Chuckles" at the YMCA. After soccer, Julie and Aunt Joyce took the girls and Tyler to the mall shopping. When they got home, Tom stayed home while Tyler took a nap and everybody went for a 16 mile bike ride. That evening we went out for supper. After supper, Julie took Megan and Tyler home and the rest of us drove across the river. We did a quick walk through the mall area. We headed back to our house for the night and observed the end of Daylight Savings time with a long discussion and a lot of confusion. We hope Aunt Joyce enjoys her extra hour whenever she decides to take it.
