Snow Days

We finally received significant snow at home.  We got about 4 inches of snow, then an inch of ice, then 4 more inches of snow. 

Megan’s school week started off with a 2 hour delay on Monday.  Tuesday and Wednesday brought the snow and ice, and school was cancelled.  Thursday, the roads were still ice covered and slippery, so school was cancelled again.  Friday, it was 30 degrees, and the roads were in ok condition, but school was called off again.  Today, Saturday, Megan’s basketball game is cancelled.

Tyler’s week started with a case of pink eye and an ear infection.  He didn’t go to school on Monday, and his school was also cancelled the rest of the week.  He also missed his YMCA classes, because of the snow and ice. 

 

They both had a lot of fun in the snow and they finally got to go sledding.
