Harvest Time

We made it back to Ohio just in time to harvest our crops.

Unfortunately while we were gone, the deer came in and did our harvesting for us.  They ate the tomato plant right up to the stem.  The lima bean was eaten off as well, but a weed a foot tall grew well in that planter.  Deer must hate weeds.  The deer also ate our sunflower plant, and a lot of flowers mom worked hard this spring to plant.

Tyler did salvage 2 peppers off the banana pepper plant.

We went into the house, cleaned and cut them up.  Tyler really did not like banana peppers, I don’t think we will grow them next year.  Too bad you can’t grow candy.
